United expands pooled MileagePlus miles to include Airlink, SAA, Ethiopian Airlines and 37 other carriers globally
United Airlines has expanded its MileagePlus Miles Pooling feature to now include 40+ partner airlines – including Airlink, SAA, Ethiopian Airlines and EgyptAir.
MileagePlus members have long been able to redeem miles on partner airlines, and with expanded Miles Pooling they can now combine miles with family and friends to redeem across partner carriers – unlocking even more global destinations to explore. Until recently, pooled miles could only be redeemed for travel on United- and United Express-operated flights.
This enhancement is part of United’s ongoing effort to make MileagePlus more rewarding, more flexible, and more valuable for travelers.
