Changes to Qantas international fees - effective from 12 November 2025
12 November 2025
Dear Agency Partner,
We want to inform you that Qantas will be increasing change and cancellation fees on some international routes for the first time since 2017. These adjustments vary by route and booking classes and will take effect from 12 November 2025.
For updated change and cancellation fees, please refer to the fare rules, which can be accessed through your technology partner. These updated fees will apply to tickets issued on or after 12 November 2025.
Bookings issued before 12 November 2025
If the booking was ticketed before 12 November 2025 and you make an initial change, the original ticketed fee will apply. Once the ticket is reissued, the new fare rules apply, and any further changes will incur the updated fees. Fare differences may also apply.
Peace-of-Mind Pricing Waiver
If you have an existing booking which has not yet been ticketed, the Peace-of-Mind Pricing Waiver can be applied to tickets issued between 12 to 14 November 2025 inclusive, subject to standard Ticketing Time Limits and waiver conditions. The Peace-of-Mind Pricing Waiver can only be applied on your customer’s initial change or cancellation and any subsequent reissues will incur the new change fees.
More information on the waiver is available on the Qantas Agency Connect site.

For any existing Qantas NDC booking held, please follow the Price Guarantee Ticketing Time Limit (PGTTL).
If Qantas cancels a flight, customers will be rebooked on an alternative service if available and offered the choice of a refund or flight credit if they prefer in line with our Schedule Change Policy.
Kind regards,
Qantas Agency Partnerships
